There are few things better than a beautiful, sunny, warm day in the midst of winter.
Hope of spring.
Hope of green grass and blooming flowers;
when the “dead” of winter bursts forth with “life.”
This morning, as I sat on my back porch enjoying the warmth of this day,
I was reminded of God’s great mercy.
No matter how dark circumstances or situations may seem,
if we stay focused on Jesus,
He will give us glimpses of “spring.”
God wants to take our lives of “winter” and bring forth “spring.”
New life is found in Christ, and Christ alone.
He is the way, the truth and the life.
“My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
When darkness seems to hide His face, I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale, my anchor holds within the vale.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.” *
Where is your hope?
Lots of love, Sharon
